This quirky novel by an exciting new talent is one part mystery, one part school story and one part celebration of the wisdom of Yoda!
In this funny, perceptive exploration of the dynamics of a school class, Dwight, a loser, dispenses surprisingly good advice to his classmates via an origami finger puppet of Yoda. Origami Yoda predicts the date of a pop quiz, guesses who stole the classroom Shakespeare bust and saves a kid from popularity-crushing embarrassment. Is the puppet tapping into the Force?
Dwight's classmate Tommy decides to investigate, to figure out how Yoda can be so wise when Dwight himself is so clueless. With contributions from his puzzled classmates, he assembles the case file that forms this novel, and discovers that greatness sometimes comes in unlikely packages.
