From the editors behind Attack on Titan and Flowers of Evil comes a new action fantasy title that combines western mythology and supernatural beings with imagery of the American Wild West. Full of action and mythos that are all familiar to fantasy novel readers and role-playing gamers alike, Sacred Beasts is the next in the line of narrative based fantasy hits to come out of Japan.

An action fantasy set in a dystopian future where to combat monster attacks monster hunters infuse themselves with monster DNA but in the process lose their humanity resulting in the developement of a monster hunter extermination unit lead by a werewolf named Hank.

About the Author

Maybe is a two-man cartooning team based out of Japan. According to reports both members were born in 1984, and they broke into the world of comics in 2005. In 2006 the pair broke through into the mainstream by getting picked up by beloved shonen publisher Akita Shoten (publishers of "Black Jack"). After nearly five years of journeymen work, the duo broke through with their first hit series "Dusk Maiden of Amnesia" by SquareEnix. The 10-volume horror series was an instant success, and would inspire an animated TV series and radio dramas of the same name. Since then Maybe have worked with major publishers - Kodansha and SquareEnix - focusing on Japan's revitalized fantasy genre to great success.
