Change of Mind
We allow change of mind returns if your product is in ‘new’ condition. It must be unopened, undamaged, and unused and returned to us within 30 days of your purchase. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item. Once the item has been received and assessed by our warehouse, we will proceed to refund the amount of the product, less the cost of returning the item.
We do not allow change of mind returns on all products. Excluded products include heavy, large and bulky items (e.g. furniture), consumables (e.g. cosmetics) and intimates (including underwear, swimwear and socks). We may also refuse change of mind returns at our discretion where your request does not meet our Fair Use standards.
Damaged or faulty items
If your product is damaged, faulty, not as described or has other issues, please contact us and we will assist you in resolving your issues. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. It's been a long strange road.... But if you want the best commuting scooter available this is the scooter you want!! Wow...what a deal!! Okay so I'm going to do my best to explain my thinking on why I purchased this item. This is my review and I will do a unboxing video when it arrives in a few days. Whenever you're buying a new product that you've never used or even heard of before there's a lot of contemplation that goes into understanding the difference between a want and a need. When I gave my car to my parents a few years ago I didn't know what might happen. I've driven since I was 16 and I just recently decided to try living life without a car. I decided that since so many people on this planet seem to be able to do it I would graciously accepted the challenge too. Lol In the years since I've ridden my bike everywhere that I needed to go and it's gotten me around fine....but things change. As I get older I do not like the idea of carrying groceries on a bike because it seems burdensome. It just feels too clumsy, too heavy, and not to mention the maintenance alone on something you ride everyday is something to think about. I noticed that for somebody in my position there were many options to explore like electric bikes, electric cars and a variety of other compact vehicles that you can attach bags to but they all seem just too burdensome to carry around and ultimately are more trouble than they're worth. But there's more to transportation than just your ability to carry items and the type of maintenance you'll have to do to it. To make this simple without going into unnecessary details I'll just say this.... I found the perfect commuting scooter!!!! I have spent the last three months really digging into the electric scooter market to find everything that's available and to learn all the pros and cons of owning an electric scooter in comparison to other electric vehicles. I discovered that most electric scooters and indeed any kind of electric mobility device can be divided into two categories..... Everyday commuting use and recreational use. I say this for many reasons but mainly the difference that matters is how it feels when you're riding it every day in comparison to occasional off-roading excursions. I didn't really have a budget but I couldn't afford some of the most expensive scooters on the market which can range up to $10,000. If you Google electric scooter you no doubt might feel overwhelmed by so many options at first but after digging into the details you'll notice as I did that there's a lot of s*** products out there made in China. It seems to be common knowledge that buying poor quality merchandise from china that will never reach you because of what's going on with covid might not be the brightest idea. I found that I was changing my mind based on how I imagined it would be like to ride this thing everyday. After coming to some hard conclusions I was about ready to buy something that went a little faster and weighed a little more but ultimately decided that portability was more important than going 30 miles an hour and having a 40 mi range...lol... So I traded up. Ultimately I decided upon this package deal that gives you a scooter that is made of carbon fiber, airless tires, safety lights, a horn, and most importantly a quick charger that can get the job done in a few hours. The most amazing part of this Black Friday deal I found is a bit ironic....Unagi is a fast-growing company because of the quality of products they make and they have a service outlet in Springfield Oregon where I plan to move in the next few months!!! Realistically speaking, and as a commuter you want something that is extremely light weight and portable so you can take it in stores, on buses, up stairs, and most importantly charge it in a few hours after using it for quick trips around town which usually don't require a far range...all this so you can go from point a to point b with ease. There are electric bikes, skateboards, hoverboards, one Wheels, electric motorcycles, electric cars, etc.... Each one with its drawbacks and advantages. The Unagi one can be attached with a shoulder strap and weighing only 25 lb can easily be taken in stores and even carried for long distances.... Something I found that no other ultra compact scooter can accomplish without sacrificing power and quality. Unlike any other ultra compact scooter for commuting you have dual motors!!! Very important!! Dual motors gives you the power(torque) you need to get up hills and avoid obstacles. Regardless of what you'll be using it for though I found the problem with most scooters is the quality of materials from china. Every commuting scooter I've researched is made of flimsy materials that can't carry heavy riders and or require tons of maintenance on the moving parts. This scooter however, the Unagi one, the Tesla of scooters, is nothing like that...I've found it has the best reviews simply because it has the lowest maintenance for any scooter period, highest quality materials(china), by far the lightest, and if it does break the replacement parts are reasonably priced and easy to install. The tires are the only downside of the scooters build simple because they will erode over time unlike air filled tires but fortunately they're easy enough to replace and being that they're airless as I mentioned you don't have to worry about getting a flat on the way to work. I hope those who read this review appreciate the many various modes of transportation out there for what they are and how they can improve our lives. It's never easy deciding what is going to be best for you and your purposes but if you want an ultra-compact electric scooter for commuting that is the most portable, the most reliable, uses the highest quality materials, with a little bit of a price tag and provides the absolute best quality customer service available than look no further than that the Unagi one!
