DofE recommended as part of their kit, the Pulsar trekking tent is a three-poled tunnel tent ideal for gear intensive activities such as kayaking or cycle touring, whilst still being light enough for trekking. The, already brilliant, Pulsar has been upgraded to include a ripstop flysheet and Yunan Eco Alloy poles as well as many more features. All this, coupled with Vango's TBS II, creates an extremely robust light weight hiking 2 man tent perfect for allowing you to experience more of the outdoors

Extra large porch space - With an extra pole the porch offers great space for storage. Keep wet kit out of the inner tent and enjoy greater flexibility, for minimal additional weight
Flysheet: 68D 190T Ripstop Polyester 5000mm - Strong, durable fabric, now with a ripstop weave providing 13% more strength. Waterproof to a hydrostatic head of 5000mm.
Yunan Eco Alloy Poles - Extremely high quality poles made with acid free processing by Yunan. These poles provide excellent strength in high winds as well as being very light.
Tunnel tent - Style provides greatest space to weight ratio
Flysheet and inner pitch together - Quick and easy to pitch and pack
Gothic arch pole structure - Increases stability and assists water/snow run-off from the flysheet
Patented Vango TBS® II Tension Band System - increases tents performance in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When tensioned, the bands brace the pole at 3 points, and prevent sideways movement. Adjust TBS® II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather
