  Wenjun exemplifies this style's powerful multi-layered aromas and tastes. Wenjun's philosophy of 'only making the best' is evidenced in our insistence on remaining true to traditional techniques inherited from our 400 year old Ming dynasty 'Kou family' distillation process, increasingly rare handmade 'Zeng' fermentation 'Qu' and use of our natural 'Tong Tian' spring water.

  Following a specifically extended fermentation period and distillation, comes the turn of our Master Blender, Madam Wu Xiaoping, the discerning palate behind the unmistakable and layered fragrance of Wenjun. One of China's foremost experts of 'Bai Jiu' Madam Wu has concentrated her talent and vision toward creating an outstanding 'Bai Jiu'.
  By carefully tasting and grading each and every spirit, then only retaining the smallest share for maturation in ceramic jars, she has created a blend of dynamic flavour and arresting aroma, that lingers and impresses long after the last drops are finished.
• Colour
  Bright, colourless and crystal clear.
• Aroma
  Delicate and fragrant, aroma of orchid and flower of chu-lan tree with subtle fruit flavour of cantaloupe, followed by a balanced fresh mint palate.
  The complex yet delicate aromas permeate the heart and soul.
• Palate
  Soft, pure and sweet. The first sip reveals the watery sweetness of pear with the light fragrance of sorghum, followed by the deep sweetness of osmanthus, glutinous rice, and an excellent acidity of apple.
• After taste
  Clean, with long and mangosteen sweet notes. The finish is pure with incredibly long and sweet notes.
