The Objective of the game is to be the first to place all tiles from the rack onto the table. Set-Up: Place all the tiles face down in the middle of the table and mix well. Every player picks one tile. The player that picks the highest number begins. The game must play in a clockwise motion. Return all the tiles to the table and mix the tiles again. Every Player takes 14 tiles and arranges them on their rack, into sets of groups or runs. Sets:  A group is a set of either three or four tiles of the same number but in different colours. Eg: black 7, red 7, blue 7, orange 7. A run is a set of three or more consecutive numbers, which are all the same colour. Eg: blue 2,3,4 and 5. Giant Rummy originated in Israel in the 1940s. The First sets of Rummy were made by the inventor in his backyard with his family. He then sold his home-made sets door to door throughout his neighbourhood. Over the years the family licensed the game to other countries becoming Israels #1 Exported game. It grew so big it became the best selling game in the United states in the 1970s.
