Crafted in Germany from quality ceramic this quality whetstone offers both coarse and fine J 400 2000 grain sides to manually sharpen and maintain the cutting edges of your treasured knives. Moisten with either water or oil before drawing the edge of a blade carefully across the whet stone a few times taking the utmost care to prevent injury to your hands.NOTE If you opt to use oil on your whet stone you must no longer moisten it with water
