Yalumba Y Series Unwooded Chardonnay x 2

This wine has a savoury edge with flinty notes from the wild ferment. The palate is fine and creamy with a touch of nuttiness, evolving with zingy citrus notes, fresh mango and cream. A refreshing, lip-smacking acidity gives this wine lovely length and the finish is savoury and textural. Try with pan-fried halloumi with lemon and parsley, or chickpea, zucchini and carrot fritters with a green mango salad.

Yalumba Y Series Cabernet Sauvignon x 2

A generous wine that has all the hallmarks of Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of dark cherries and Satsuma plums with a lovely balance of savoury and dried Mediterranean herbs, evocative of warm seaside escapes. The distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon tannins, guide across the palate showing why it is one of the world’s best known and enjoyed varieties. A lovely match for this wine is traditional homemade lasagne or sautéed Portobello mushrooms with rosemary and garlic.

Yalumba Y Series Reisling x 2

This Barossa Riesling is rich with apple blossom, musk, orange sherbet and fresh-cut pear aromas. The palate has great fruit weight and creaminess with overriding Meyer lemon flavours, and a more sophisticated finish.

Yalumba Y Series Merlot x 2

The Merlot Yalumba Y Series has an elegant crimson colour. Classic black currant varietal aromas, spicy fruit, violets and vanilla lead to a medium-bodied palate with flavours ranging from fruit cake to black cherry with very fine almost velvet tannins. The generous flavours of the fruit give the wine a fleshy, supple appeal that is so well known for the variety.

Yalumba Y Series Pinot Grigio x 2

Crafted by one of Australia's biggest winemaking families, this wine begins with nashi pear, baked apple and orange blossom, and finishes with wild honey and feijoa. The palate is a succulent combination of baked apple and feijoa with fresh cream and poached mid-palate, pear and a strong finish of cinnamon and oatmeal. This very drinkable wine is completed with a lingering orange panna cotta.

Yalumba Y Series Shiraz x 2

The Yalumba Y Series Shiraz has a deep crimson-purple colour. Cascading aromas of wild blackberries, ripe blueberries and Black Forest cake are framed by hints of Indian spices. Rich and ripe, this Y Series Shiraz is a glorious mouthful of South Australia with layers of ripe blackberries and Christmas cake on the palate, enveloped in soft, juicy, fully ripe tannins.
