Dragonfly 2 is part of a series which is a study of dragonflies. This limited edition print is a hand drawn work inspired by the messages and meaning of dragonflies.
Dragonflies have rich symbolism and remind us to appreciate life in the moment. They live for a brief time but rise from the swamp to the heights of their environment like the lotus flower. Their iridescence and colourful bodies and wings makes them a striking delight where-ever they land. They also symbolise change and self-realisation so any art form depicting dragonflies can be bring surface beauty as well as deeper meaning.
