Shipping Policy  

Carriers and Tips: In order to battling with the soaring shipping cost, we only partner with major carriers such as Startrack, TNT, Hunter Express, Followmont, TOLL, NORTHLINE, COURIERS PLEASE, Bluestar to carefully look after the transportation of your order. Stonegate Industries’ motorsports products often comes in large metal crates with forklift fork pockets. It's often cheaper and easier to deliver to business addresses (preferable with the help of the forklift onsite), and for customers to collect the products from the carriers’ local depots.

Customers are requested to leave their email to receive tracking details. Courier and freight delivery times vary and we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date so we recommend you allow plenty of time for your order to reach you, particularly if you live in WA, NT or regional / rural areas.

If you need the product urgently, please contact us via your MyDeal account and we can advise (or quote) on the quickest (or cheapest) expedite courier.

Stonegate Industries is not liable for any missing or damaged items, please make sure the address you provided is accessible and contact details are correct.  Products damaged in transit will not be covered unless you have chosen Transit Insurance option at the time of purchase.

If you have paid for Insurance, and you have received any item damaged in transit or missing components, please advise us within 7days of receiving the product.

All claims after 7 days will not be accepted. Delivery processing time We will endeavour to dispatch all orders upon receiving the order confirmation and processed within 1 to 3 business day (orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances).

Our order processing runs from Monday - Friday every week, unless stated on our website of closure or delays, but not on weekends or public holidays. All orders placed before midday (12pm AEST*), Monday - Friday (Sydney metro, Victoria metro and QLD metro areas and surrounds, with the exception of WA, SA & NT) are generally dispatched on the same day. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders due to sales and/or peak trading periods (dependent on public holidays), deliveries may be delayed by 48hrs (2 business days) – so please keep this in mind   if you are purchasing to allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will endeavour to notify you.

If a product is unavailable, we may be able to add this to your cart but please note that there may be a delay in processing. Although express services are fast, unfortunately we can’t guarantee timings as it depends on the destination. Occasionally, carriers experience delays and as much as we don’t like it, they are out of our control. We do not accept any liability and you agree to release us from all liability arising out of any delay in shipping and delivering an order. Upon successful completion of your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing details to track your order. All orders require a signature upon delivery.

f you are not at the delivery address to sign for your order, the freight company will leave a notice for collection card with details on how you can collect your delivery.

Please note we do not ship internationally at this time - any orders for international customers will be refunded & not processed by our team.

Large items (over 40kg) Due to Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations, someone must assist the driver with unloading the item if it is too heavy to be moved by one person. Tailgate fee and extra handling cost often apply here. Extra hands and tailgate trucks may need to be arranged for home address deliveries. A surcharge may also apply to rural and regional QLD, NSW, VIC customers while local contractors are used away from major depots.

Dangerous goods declaration Stonegate Industries is committed to providing a safe, secure service to our clients in transporting, handling and storing the products they classify as dangerous goods, and to provide for the safety of all employees, the community and the environment. Items considered as 'Dangerous Goods' will consist of lubricants, oils, some cleaning agents and aerosols. As our shipping carriers provide specific policies regarding items classified as "Dangerous Goods", we can provide the following steps for these goods to be sent to our customers: We will provide a shipping quote to the customer based on the location, item and details of the order. Once the customer has accepted the quote, they will need to pay for this at their own cost and our team will be in touch to arrange this. If the customer would like a refund for this purchase we can refund the full cost and any freight costs. Please note we do not take responsibility for any shipping delays, lost and or damaged items, fines or any other consequence incurred by our shipping carrier as a result of the dangerous goods purchase. once the item has left our premises this is the customers responsibility.  

Shipping time: We normally process all orders and dispatch within 1 to 3 working days. General shipping time is around 7-10 business days. Pick-ups and Deliveries are not available on Sundays and public holidays. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery if we are experiencing a high volume of orders. Warranty

All Stonegate Industries Dirt Bikes, Quad Bikes and Buggies (the Products”) carry a manufacturers warranty from the time of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship with the customary exclusions noted here unless otherwise specified in writing at time of Purchase.

The Products are sold as recreational use products and are not intended for commercial or industrial use unless otherwise stated in writing at the time or purchase. Stonegate Industries shall not be liable for consequential loss of any kind arising out of the supply, operation or use of any product sold. Stonegate Industries does not cover any consequential expense beyond warranty supply of replacement parts for the product itself e.g. freight and transport.

The warranty is valid only applicable to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

3 months Parts Only Warranty: Stonegate Industries warrants to the original retail purchaser that the Products to be free of manufacturing defects of general materials, components, frame and workmanship except for the battery, tires, and inner tubes and wear parts for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.

This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or storage or use of the product.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Assembly

Please ensure the Product is properly assembled before use. It is the operators responsibility to check the overall condition of the Product prior to operating i.e. Visual inspection of all mechanical components, check for loose bolts, nuts etc; chain tension and lubricant or oil levels.

Any Product must be assembled, repaired or serviced by a licensed mechanic in a licensed workshop. A receipt of payment for assembly, repair or periodic servicing will be required when making warranty claims for parts.

 

Exclusions/Limitations

By purchasing the Products (whether online, in-store or by telephone), you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review and understand our warranty terms and you accept the terms and conditions including the limitations, exclusions, and disclaimers in the warranty.

Our warranty does not cover:

  • defects relating to oxidisation or corrosion

  • regular maintenance and or scheduled replacement of items including but not limited to
    spokes, spark plugs, oil filers, drive chain and belts, air filters, tyres, fork seals and fork bushes

  • Any part that has been subject to accidental damage, incorrect maintenance, inadequate
    storage or misuse

  • deterioration of any item due to fair wear end exposure during private use unless there is a
    defect
    Our warranty will be void if the product is not used in accordance with the owner
    s manual or:

  • damaged, failed or lost due to improper assembly, maintenance or storage

  • damaged in an accident, crash or loss of control incident

  • used in a manner other than for recreation

  • poorly or incorrectly maintained

  • used in a manner in which this product was not specifically designed

  • failure to follow owners manual instructions or warnings

  • electronics or battery exposed to water

  • modified in any way

  • damage by unauthorised service or parts

  • used for commercial purposes

     

     

    Return and Refund Policy

    Your satisfaction is our number one priority. Please choose carefully as we do not refund or exchange simply because you changed your mind or the product was not what you expected.
    However, if you wish to return products in their original packaging and in saleable condition, please contact us via email
    and obtain a return authority form. No returns can be accepted without one. Postage and handling charge are not refundable.

  • Dead on arrival:
    Please note if the claim for dead on arrival is not submitted within 7 days of receiving the product, it will be conclusion evidence the item is not dead
    on arrival.
    In cases where Stonegate Industries agrees to refund the order:

  • the customer (buyer) is responsible for covering the return shipping carrier cost of the product being returned.

  • with returned products in its original sealed packaging, a 15% restocking fee will apply.

  • with returned products not in its original sealed packaging, a 30% restocking fee will apply.

  • You must adequately package any product you are returning for our collection to ensure that
    it is not damaged during return delivery to our warehouse.

  • All original items including all parts and accessories must be returned for the product to be
    deemed intact.

If you are entitled to a refund, we will process the refund upon receipt of the product at our warehouse and inspected it and assessed whether it is eligible for a refund under these Conditions of Sale.

All faulty and incorrect products must be returned within 14 days after receiving goods, Proof of purchase must also be supplied. Note that all return freight will be at buyers expense.

For claims made after this period, please refer to warranty terms and conditions as we will handle it as a case by case manner.

Please DO NOT assemble or unpack the wrong item(s) you received. This will void the returns policy and we will not be unable to have the wrong item(s) collected for return.
