The bin was a little bit thinner, as in the metal framework seems to be very thin and could quite possibly not last as long as my old bin, time will tell. (My other bin has been with me for over 10 years and the plastic bins inside of it have broken) I am really enjoying the toe tap function as I'm not as young anymore and dislike the thought of dribbling stuff over the lid of the bin trying to activate a sensor bin, so this was a huge selling point for me. So far I'm loving my new bin.
