Not only does it provide a secure location for the Anderson plug to fitted externally but with the spring loaded cover it keeps dust and dirt out when not being used.
When the cover is open and a second Anderson plug is plugged in, the cover has a lip on the inside that stops the two plugs from separating.
This mounting kit is corrosion resistant, accepts all 120 amp Anderson plugs.
