This is a high fidelity passive inverted speaker of aluminium construction.
Some of you are asking, what about a speaker with an aluminium cabinet when most speakers are of wooden construction? We know that a good speaker cabinet needs to have good mechanical properties and needs to remain rigid in the vibration of the sound waves, which means that the Q value should be high, otherwise the low frequency sound will be blurred and loose. Because of cost considerations, most speakers use MDF panels rather than aluminium.
Also to ensure good mid and high frequencies, this model has a 2-way design with a separate tweeter to compensate for the effect of the bass design on the highs.??
If you are a loudspeaker DIY enthusiast, you can also use this cabinet to install your favourite speakers and distributor, and I am sure the aluminium construction will give you satisfactory results.
