Important Health Note:
The ACCC have conducted random testing for select Azo dyes in a wide range of consumer goods one of which being textiles. Azo dyes are a large class of effective synthetic dyes used in colouring. A small portion of azo dyes contain or can break down to form a class of chemical substances referred to as aromatic amines. Aromatic amines such as benzidine, dimethoxybenzidine and p-aminoazobenzene are considered to be hazardous. Some of these aromatic amines as know, or suspected human carcinogens. Exposure can cause cancer but exposure won‰Ûªt necessarily mean cancer will result.
Our sheets have been randomly tested by the ACCC and have found to have ZERO traces of these problematic, potentially cancer causing dyes. This underpins our emphasis on safe, healthy and high grade sheets for our consumers.
