A lovely pale, salmon pink colour with beautiful, shiny reflections. This listing is for the double-double 3L Jeroboam format, a perfect party centrepiece or gift for a true lover of the rose lifestyle.

The nose is quite delicate, fruit-forward, clean and complex, with notes of fresh red fruits, peach and some subtle floral hints.

AIX Rose 2021 offers roundness on the palate and a beautiful aromatic depth, before finding freshness and some minerality in its long and precise finish.

Winemakers Comments

''We've never encountered a harvest as early as this one," says Eric Kurver, winemaker at Maison Saint Aix. ''Harvest used to start at the end of September: this year we began on the third! The changing climate, along with this year's growing conditions, leads to the grapes' early maturation. They were fully ripe, with good acidity and an excellent balance between fruitiness and freshness. In my experience, this is one of the best AIX vintages ever."

Drawn from one of Provence's most celebrated terroirs, AIX Rose is created to be the purest possible expression of what a rose wine can be.

There's a reason Provence is the birthplace of rose. With mineral-rich soils, 300 days of sun a year and the cooling Mistral winds, it offers the ideal growing conditions for Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes, the classical Provence blend used to make AIX Rose. Maison Saint Aix is one of the largest domaines in the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation.

At 420m above sea level, it's also one of the highest. AIX is a well-balanced premium Provence rose made to be shared.
