I have a carpet which won't let me use my 'big' vacuum - I bought one of these a few years ago and it has been amazing. I bought another one which is now stored away so when the older one gives out I will have another one of the same to clean my floors. It is not a huge vacuum but the results after doing the floors is incredible. Won't ever go back to big bulky ones - the Akitas is top of the list as far as I am concerned.

It appears, after two uses, that it does a better job extracting and picking up dust from carpets than our heavy, and expensive at the time, previous machine. Very pleased with the purchase.
