API Fresh Water Master Test Kit

The API Freshwater Master Test Kit tests tap and aquarium water for five essential water parameters including all tests required for testing the nitrogen cycle. The kit includes computer-calibrated and laminated color cards, 4 glass test tubes and holding tray. Also contains complete, step-by-step instruction booklet, including information on how to correct unsafe water conditions. The API Freshwater Master Kit is compact and easy to store, highly accurate and economical. Contains 800 tests.

PH TESTS KIT (High and Low): pH is the measure of acidity of water. A pH reading of 7.0 is neutral. A pH higher than 7.0 is alkaline, and a pH lower than 7.0 is acidic. Maintaining the aquarium at the proper pH ensures optimal water quality. The pH should be tested weekly, since natural materials in the aquarium (such as fish waste and uneaten food) can cause pH shifts.

AMMONIA TEST KIT: Ammonia, constantly released into the aquarium, is the number one killer of tropical fish. Fast, easy and accurate, this test kit measures ammonia levels from 0 to 7 ppm.

NITRITE TEST KIT: Toxic nitrite is produced by nitrifying bacteria in the biological filter as it breaks down ammonia. This kit tests for harmful nitrite and measures levels from 0 to 5.0 ppm.

NITRATE TEST KIT: Measures nitrate levels in both fresh & salt water aquariums. Tests nitrate levels from 0 to 160 ppm. 90 tests per kit Other products that may help with these vital water parameters include; API Quick Start, API Stress Zyme, Aqua One Bio Starter, Aqua One Ammonia and Chlorine Neutralizer, Seachem Prime, Aqua one pH Up or pH Down, Seachem Purigen.

If your product fails within 60 days or arrives broken, we will repair or replace it. We have the right to get the product back to us or we can ask you to send a picture of the product with the power cord cut in half, so that we can supply you a replacement without the need to return the faulty product. We will pay for the return cost. We will issue you an RMA number, please place that on the product ready for return. Please note that we do NOT accept COD deliveries.
