The Aqua One UV Lamp PL 5W lamps are compact UVC (germicidal) lamps used in Ultra violet clarifier units. The compact size of the lamp allows for a small system design and design flexibility. The Aqua One UV Lamp PL 5W lamps offer constant UV output over their lifetime (Normally around 12 months).The Aqua One UV Lamp PL 5W lamp replacement is easy. Although the UV Lamp in a Ultra Violet Clarifier (UV-C) will last over 12 months, the effectiveness of the lamp declines over time. The manufacturer recommends replacing the UV Lamp tube every 12 months, in order to get the best results from your UV-C, so your pond or water feature can look its best all year round.
Ultra violet clarifiers are used in ponds to eliminate water born floating algae which turns the pond water green and starve it of oxygen. Algae as well as plants compete with the fish for the oxygen available within the pond at night. This oxygen is only produced during the ‘daytime’ cycle of photosynthesis. Reducing the algae within the pond will allow the fish to breathe easier minimising stress and the risk of disease.

Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
If your product fails within 60 days or arrives broken, we will repair or replace it. We have the right to get the product back to us or we can ask you to send a picture of the product with the power cord cut in half, so that we can supply you a replacement without the need to return the faulty product. We will pay for the return cost. We will issue you an RMA number, please place that on the product ready for return. Please note that we do NOT accept COD deliveries.
If your product fails outside the 60 days, we cover our products with a return to base warranty, where we will fix/replace the item. We have great rates with our couriers, and we are more than happy to share these with you, just ask and we can get that organised for you.
