Features:
Compared to traditional nylon, the New Nylgut produces a superior sound and maintains better tuning stability. This is due to its moisture absorption rate of less than 0.1%, compared to the 2.0% typical of nylon strings.
Thanks to its higher density, which is similar to that of pure gut, New Nylgut offers a richer sound than nylon and avoids the metallic tone often associated with so-called ‘Carbon’ (Fluorocarbon) PVDF strings.
In summary, New Nylgut is likely the first genuine synthetic gut available in the market.
