Jinsyo Pottery Arita Porcelain Koimari Kikuwari Plate 15cm

Koimari is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Arita ware. Koimari ware was exported to Europe since the second half of the 17th century. The smooth touch feeling, clear white porcelain surface and colourful painting add a vivid touch to your table settings. The plate's shape is inspired by the chrysanthemum flower ("Kikuwari" in Japanese), the size also makes it a practical piece for serving food or holding your special items.

The distinctive Japanese Arita porcelain is renowned for its superb quality and the tradition of porcelain making dating back 400 years, when Korean potters first discovered kaolin, a superior quality white clay in Arita and introduced the art of pottery to Japan.

Most products come with a 7 day change of mind policy, please contact us for return approval. You have 7 days period to return the product, you will have to bear return postage with a tracking number Once received and inspected, you will be refunded the transaction amount minus the original postage cost (we will advise once we inspect the product) minus $2 handling fee.
