Auralex SheetBlok is an Isolation Barrier of dense limp-mass vinyl that prevents the transmission of sound when used in wall floor and ceiling constructions. Primarily for use in floating floors and walls the SheetBlok acts as a thin but dense layer between other materials as part of a multi-layered construction plan. SheetBlok can be doubled up for improved isolation and absorption of sounds translated through structural resonance. Most commonly used as a decoupling layer in floating floor and wall construction applications.
