    • It works as it should. The instructions say 'do not immerse in water', which seems to mean only wipe with a damp cloth. I don't immerse the lid because of the mechanism, but I do immerse the bowl and basket, so far so good. The quality is very good. I bought a similar salad spinner years ago and it's still going strong, all plastic and usually washed in the dishwasher. I bought this one for a spare.
