Our heavy duty spit roast motor was designed, built and tested by our own in house engineer over 10 years ago. In our design stage, we sourced over 20 induction motors and dismantled every one to ensure that the best parts were used. If we were happy with the build quality we then reassemble and performed our rigorous tests. In the end, it became a game to see how far these motors would go without breaking. Due to this we now have what I believe is one of the strongest rotisserie motors in its price range. 

Since our initial product release over 10 years ago, other manufacturers have copied our designs. These motors may look the same from the outside, some with even bigger load ratings, but internally they use inferior components. Don't risk a broken drive gear when catering for your wedding, spend that little bit extra and get something that you know will work and won't let you down.

Our rating of 60kg is well under its maximum load capacity. We prefer to underrate our motors just for our own peace of mind. The load rating is what consumers look for when making a buying decision. Other retailers have overstated their motor ratings to get the sale. Sadly the customers that buy these motors are the ones that call us up in a panic when their spit roast motor has stopped during a cook.  I personally would not be able to live with that on my conscience so rest assured our motors will do what they are built to do and not let you down.
