The Axiom Prelude Series has been designed to provide the beginner with a musical instrument of exceptional quality for the price. We have worked closely with our factories in Asia to develop instruments with features normally only found on brands costing 2-3 times the price. Every Prelude Series product will probide the first time player with a firm foundation for their musical journey at a truly affordable price.
The Prelude Violins from Axiom offer many features normally found on violins in retail stores cost upwards of $300. For a start we use the best quality tonewoods possible at this price for the most pleasing tone. Then we specify Ebony tuning pegs which provide for firm and stable tuning. Most other violins at this price use cheaper timber pegs which can warp and stick. We include a very high quality Carbon Fibre tailpiece where other brands use cheaper plastic or metal versions. The fine tuners on the Prelude violins use wide base carbon fibre arms that will not slip or jam. The bow uses genuine horsehair and a brazilwood stick
Most importantly every single Prelude Series violin is fully checked and set up prior to despatch. We feel this is important in providing a violin that is ready to play and to avoid the possibility of any problems. We shape the bridge, check the fit of the pegs and tune the violin to make sure everything is 100%

Seltaeb Music Pty Ltd provides a 2-Year Manufacturing Defect Warranty on all its product. This warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture, parts or workmanship during the warranty period (with normal use and service).
The warranty does not apply where damage is caused by other factors, including without limitation: (a) normal wear and tear; (b) abuse, mishandling, accident or failure to follow operating instructions; (c) exposure to liquid or infiltration of foreign particles; (d) servicing or modification of the Product other than by Seltaeb Music Pty Ltd, or their authorised service agents; (e) shipment or other transit.
This warranty does not cover the replacement of any consumables such as guitar strings, reeds, drum skins, pads on woodwind instruments, etc. Moreover, the warranty does not cover damage to keys on flutes, clarinets and saxophones due to gripping the instrument too tightly when assembling. Care must be taken to avoid gripping tightly and bending the keys in this way which will result in the pads not sealing correctly.
