Woodfield Estate Limited Release Yarra Valley Cabernet Shiraz 2019

Brilliant deep red garnet, an elegant, medium bodied red. A smooth ripe fruitiness with an array of juicy strawberry, blackberry and blackcurrant flavours, are complemented by complex spice from the new French Oak, also providing a supple tannin structure. A fine acidity knits everything together with a satisfying length to finish.

Rosemount Diamond Estate Label Shiraz 2019

This Shiraz is full-bodied, well-defined and juicy-sweet with blackberry, plum and cherry flavours complemented by the subtle richness of oak

Rouge Homme Limestone Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Rouge Homme Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the famous Coonawarra region. This is a medium bodied red wine that has depth and complexity with blackberry, mint and spicy characters. The perfect choice to go with red meat dishes, in particular lamb.

Curtis Family Vineyards Legion Shiraz 2020

The Curtis Family are concentrating on developing complex premium wines for the Australian market. Premium wines that show the Curtis Family passion for great McLaren Vale Wines.

Deep red in colour, nose of ripe berries mixed with lifted peppery spices. Medium to full body with complexed flavours of ripe berries, coffee bean & chocolate leading to a generous lingering tannin finish.

19 Crimes Tempranillo 2019

19 Crimes Tempranillo is plush and full with a subtle vanilla sweetness, giving it a rich mouthfeel and a deep red with crimson hue. Similar in character to the rogues on our bottles, 19 Crimes wines are bold and uncompromising. The palate is filled with dark fruits with a hint of spice. A medium full-bodied red wine with notes of pepper, warm spice, plum and red currants with lifted vanilla aromatics.

St Huberts The Stag Tempranillo Shiraz 2020

Hubert de Castella's passion for the Yarra Valley saw him establish St Huberts in 1862. By the late 1800s it had grown to be the largest estate in the area. The wines enjoyed immediate and on-going success at wine shows both domestically and abroad. The onset of the Great Depression, the increasing popularity of fortified wine and the emerging profitability of dairy farming saw the vineyard revert to grazing in the 1920s. It wasn't until the 1960s that the Yarra Valley again rose to prominence as a wine region and St Huberts was once again one of the pioneers. Just like the noble creature, The Stag wines represent elegance, grace and esteem.

Quintessentially Victorian, they are made in a classic cool climate style. Following the success and popularity of St Huberts The Stag Pinot Noir introduced in 2008, a Victorian Chardonnay and Shiraz were added to the tier in 2016.

As a “don the hat” to this old world variety, and mix of traditional and modern winemaking techniques are employed. Picked at optimum ripeness, particularly to avoid unripe tannins common in Tempranillo (and overripe characters in Shiraz). Whole berry fermentation in both open and closed style fermenters. Some parcels pressed off early for fruit expression, and others macerated, to soften tannins and build savoury notes. Intended as the ideal “food red”.

Region: Around 70% Heathcote, 20% Grampians, with some Bendigo and Yarra in the mix

Peter Lehmann Portrait Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The highly rated 2017 vintage in the Barossa has produced red wines, rich in both colour and flavour. The 2017 Portrait Cabernet is deeply coloured and shows black forest fruits leading to a richly structured palate with firm but soft tannins. While drinking beautifully now it is a wine that can be cellared with confidence for a further 5-8 years if desired during which time it will soften and become more complex.
