Can an air purifier get rid of smells?
Air purifiers with activated carbon filters are excellent at absorbing odours, smoke, and certain gases, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in paints, cleaning products, and furniture. These filters will easily get rid of any smells and coupled with a HEPA filter will be even more effective in ensuring you are breathing clean air.
When to change the filter of your HEPA air purifier?
The frequency of filter replacement depends on several factors:
- Air quality: In areas with high levels of pollution or allergens, you might need to change your filter more often.
- Filter type: The quality and type of filter will influence its lifespan.
- Usage: Frequent and extended use of the air purifier will shorten the filter's life.
- Manufacturer's recommendations: Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for specific recommendations.
Generally, HEPA filters should be replaced every 6 to 12 months. However, it's essential to inspect the filter regularly for signs of wear and tear, such as visible dirt or dust buildup.
Do air purifiers only work in open spaces?
No, air purifiers don't exclusively work in open spaces. They are designed to clean the air within a specific room or area. In fact, they are most effective when used in enclosed spaces.
Products which are on promotion are also ineligible for change of mind returns.
Change of mind refunds for clothing, footwear and accessories will only be accepted if items are returned unworn, unused, and in saleable condition with the original tags attached. They must be returned in their original packaging, including sealed boxes, plastic bags, and shoe boxes.

Change of Mind
We may allow change of mind returns if your product is in ‘new’ condition. It must be unopened, undamaged, and unused and returned to us within 30 days of the product being delivered to you. A $15 restocking fee which includes the return label is deducted per item returned. Once the item has been received and assessed by the returns team, we will proceed to refund the amount of the product, (excluding the original delivery charges).
Change of mind refunds for clothing, footwear and accessories will only be accepted if items are returned unworn, unused, and in saleable condition with the original tags attached. They must be returned in their original packaging, including sealed boxes, plastic bags, and shoe boxes.
Exclusions to our change of mind policy
We don't allow change of mind returns on the following products:
- heavy, large and bulky items (e.g. furniture, mattresses, large or heavy appliances);
- consumables (e.g. cosmetics);
- health products;
- jewellery;
- toppers, underlays, pillows and quilts;
- intimates (including underwear, swimwear, socks and hosiery).
Products which are on promotion are also ineligible for change of mind returns.
We may also refuse change of mind returns at our discretion where your request does not meet our Fair Use standards. These include where:
- we believe have made an unreasonable amount of change of mind return requests; or
- we suspect fraud, misuse or abuse of this policy.
Damaged or faulty items
If your product is damaged, faulty, not as described or has other issues, please contact us and we will assist you in resolving your issues. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
