DeadLatch are commonly found on front doors that don’t have handles or if they do they are purely there for aesthetics.

DeadLatch Function - is a locking mechanism that locks automatically without having to turn a knob or use a key.

Features:

• 45 degree lever rotation to unlock the door
• Lever compliant with BCA codes and AS1428
• Lever Offset (distance between door face and inside of lever) meets requirement for disability
• Fire rated up to 2 hours on E-core as a primary or secondary lock with the hold back disabled, egress regulations still apply
• High grade zinc alloy for the lock casing, knob and lever, marine grade stainless steel for the latch bolt and snib, has a cut resistant latch bolt and a reinforced strike with extended fasteners for increased frame strength
• Adjustable strike
• Suits left and right hand opening doors
