Cat5 / Cat6 Extender Kit
This extender kit allows you to extend a AV signal (composite video and stereo audio) through the walls or ceiling via Cat5 or Cat6 LAN network cable. Simply plug in your standard AV cables (red, white and yellow) between your devices and the wall plates. The wall plate then converts the signals and sends them along the Cat5 / Cat6 network cable to the other wall plate, where once again you can simply plug in your standard AV cables between the wallplate and your equipment.

Built-in Infrared IR Extender
This kit includes a built-in infrared extender system, which allows you to use your remote controls to control devices from a different room. The kit includes everything necessary to control up to three devices from a second room.

Note about Foxtel:
Please note that Foxtel is notoriously difficult when it comes to infrared (IR) repeater/extender systems. This system may not work with Foxtel. The only IR systems that are guaranteed to work with Foxtel are the Resi-Linx brand.

Kit Includes:
- 1 x Wall Plate which converts an AV signal and an Infrared signal to Cat5/6
- 1 x Wall Plate which converts Cat5/6 to an AV signal and an Infrared signal
- 1 x Power supply
- 1 x IR Receiver
- 1 x Single IR Emitter
- 1 x Dual IR EmitterThis kit does not include Cat5 / Cat6 cables or AV cables.

Connections:
- Front: 3 RCAs (Red, White and Yellow), 3.5mm jacks for IR system- Rear: UTP Cat5 punch-down

Approx Distance Capabilties:
- Up to 300 metres via Cat5e

Bluetooth?
Some remote controls now use Bluetooth instead of infrared. Please note that Bluetooth remotes are not compatible with this infrared extender system. This system only extends remote signals from infrared remote controls. If you're unsure, please feel free to email or call our friendly experts.
