The Chemex coffeemaker, together with Chemex-Bonded Coffee Filter, makes a perfect pour over coffee. The Bonded Filters result in a coffee which is clear, pure, flavourful and without bitterness or sediment.
The coffee only comes in contact with the scientifically designed filter and non-porous glass ensuring no exterior exposure. With the Chemex pour over method, you can make coffee as strong as you like without bitterness. The Chemex is great for iced coffee and coffee flavoring for gourmet recipes. Because of its purity, Chemex brewed coffee can be stored by simply covering the top and storing your coffee in the refrigerator for reheating...without losing its flavour!
For an Iced Chemex Coffee simply place large ice cubes in the base of the Chemex and make your coffee like normal. As the Chemex Coffee pours, it will instantly be cooled creating a crisp and clean iced coffee, perfect for summer!

We understand that drinking great coffee is as important as being happy with the coffee gear you purchase to make it! In order to give you peace of mind when shopping with us we offer a hassle free returns and exchange policy so you can return any purchased item within 14 days from the date of your order. We can provide an Alternative Brewing store credit, refund or exchange for another item, where the returned item is subject to the following conditions:
The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.
All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.
