This package includes the D05 raw pine barn door, BB02 hardware kit, soft close, and BH11 handles which is a complete package for setting up a sliding barn door system;

The door has a slot on the bottom for the floor guide, ready to be installed. The barn door only needs to drill the screw holes for the rollers and handles and can be painted directly. Do not cut it by yourself unless communicated with us;

This product only contains the D05 Raw Pine Barn Door, BB02 hardware kit, soft close, and BH11 handles;

What size barn door do you need?

Usually, the barn door needs to cover the whole opening, it could be the same height as the opening but must be larger than the width of the opening. For large openings, you can consider not only single but also double sliding barn doors

Barn Door Hardware Installation

As we are based in Melbourne, we can do installations for VIC customers, contact us for more details;

To install this system, the wall must be strong enough. For plaster wall, we recommend attaching a piece of timber board (For example, 2m rail, we use 2000x42x18mm timber) on the wall first, then screwing the rail on the timber board;

As these raw pine barn doors are made of natural pine, will have knots on the door surface and may have small natural cracks around the knots.

You can paint or stain the raw pine barn doors directly. If you want a barn door painted in white colour. We recommend you cover the knot areas with a deeper colour (eg. light gray), and fill the natural cracks around the knots before painting otherwise the knots areas may turn yellow.

For barn door orders, we can send them to the metro area freight depot for free, to the regional area freight depot for a fee, or to home delivery for a fee. Please check our freight depot list in FAQ, then select the metro or regional area freight depot pick-up or home delivery option for the shipping method when checking out.

Please check the items' condition before signing the delivery proof. If you find the package damaged, please take a picture of both the damaged package and the damaged item inside and contact us within 7 days.

Change Of Mind Returns

Full refund will be provided if you cantact us to cancel the order before dispatching. If you change your mind within 30 days after placing the order, AU Barn Door will provide an exchange (consumer pay the postage) or refund (without the delivery cost), 10-20% restocking fee may apply (for already dispatched orders, this fee includes the labour and freight protection material cost):

Not including on sale product
The items unused, undamaged, in its original packaging, including manuals, pamphlets and all accessories;
The item unopened, unused, undamaged, in its original condition;
Not including custom product;
Customer arrange the returning shipment

For orders contains barn doors, if the order has already dispatched/arrived the destination, 20% restocking charge + returnning cost will apply.

Please contact us before sending back any items. Returning shipment must be arranged within a week after you contact us and we agreed the return

Other Returns

AU Barn Door will accept product returns or refund or partly refund for repair:

Items damaged during transportation (we must be notified within 7 business days after the items were delivered)
Items lose during transportation (we must be notified within 7 business days after the items were delivered)
Items damaged or lose by our faulty
Forgot / no collection from freight depot caused returns (20% restocking charge + returnning cost will apply)

For returning a damaged product which at our fault, we will response for the freight charge (For returning the faulty product and re sending the replacement, but only to the receiving address on the original invoice/quote or );

AU Barn Door Reserves The Rights to:

Check the condition of the returned items prior to provide refund or exchange, this may result the refuse of refund or exchange providing.

The original AU Barn Door receipt or invoice or order emails is the best proof of your purchasing
Refund will be processed by the original payment method

Warranty

We offer a 10 years quality warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for all hardware and parts. (Excluding soft close)

3 years quality warranty for all barn doors. 1 year quality warranty for all swing doors.

All internal barn doors and hardware are intended for interior use only, and are not warrantied against exterior use.

All products come with a limited lifetime warranty that covers the functionality of our products.

Conditions of Warranty

Defects occurring within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced at the Company's discretion and subject to the terms of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic discoloration, damage, improper installation, normal wear, damaged by sunshine and rain.
The goods must be used only in a normal and proper manner.
Unauthorized dismantling, repair, or modification of the goods by anyone other than the Company will invalidate this warranty.
The Company will not accept any charges associated with the removal or re-installation of the goods.
The warranties apply to defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship and do not cover the following:
Accidental damage, malicious damage, or misuse.
Damage or deterioration of the finish due to harsh weather conditions, adverse weather conditions, or improper maintenance of the products (including coastal locations and areas with significant temperature fluctuations).
