This Wireless USB Adapter connects your laptop or desktop computer to your wireless network. You can connect to either a 5.8GHz or 2.4GHz network. Most laptops and desktop computers only have the 2.4GHz wireless built in, dual band with the additional 5Ghz band will allow you to use a less congested 5GHz band.
