Simply peel away the protective paper from the glue board, and fold the trap, pushing the tab through the slot to form a small tent shape. Write the date in the space provided on the trap to help you know when to replace the trap. Place the trap on your pantry shelf close to dry food products and check regularly for any caught moths.

If you find moths on the trap, carefully inspect your dried food packs for any signs of damage to the packaging and/or signs of moth larvae in the food, such as webbing or frass (larval faeces). Note that moth larvae can even chew through thin plastic and cardboard packs to infest unopened food. Dispose of any contaminated foods and wipe down pantry surfaces to remove any eggs. Vacuum crevices where pupae may be sheltering.
Re-set the trap and continue monitoring.
