Tired of staying up all night monitoring fire and temperatures of your smoker? Well, now you can get that long-awaited whole night sleep while your oven temperature is being controlled with the help of the Fireboard Drive Fan | Blower 20CFM . This variable speed blower can be powered by FireBoard’s internal battery or with 12V, acquired from the FireBoard 2 Drive.

Control your temperature with either Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a manual setting on the LCD screen of your Fireboard controller, Just plug the fan dive blower into the Fireboard 2 Drive and let the variable speed fan control your cook chamber temperature. With the FireBoard’s new fan design, you can easily mount/switch the adapters and with the built-in sliding damper, you can fine-tune the airflow.

Fireboards Drive Blower is a powerful fan that can be installed on many smokers using either of the 2 included adapter plates:

• Small/Medium Adapter Plate: 2.75 x 1.97″ (70 x 50mm)
• Large/XL Adapter Plate: 3.43 x 3.03″ (87 x 77mm)

Note: Blower does NOT include Drive Fan Control Cable that is needed on the Fireboard 2 or older Fireboard models. The FireBoard 2 Drive & Pro models will power the fan directly, no Drive Fan Control Cable necessary.

Adapter Plates

Depending on your grill or smoker vent size, the Drive Blower may attach without an adapter. The Drive Blower comes with two adapter plates:

Small/Medium Adapter Plate: 2.75 x 1.97″ (70 x 50mm)
Large/XL Adapter Plate: 3.43 x 3.03″ (87 x 77mm)

To attach an adapter plate:

• Determine which plate is the best fit for your grill or smoker.
• Loosen the thumb screws on either side of the blower.
• Slide the adapter rails up slightly. Make sure that you do not slide them completely off of the blower.
• Gentle squeeze the rails, pushing them slightly towards each other.
• Slide the adapter plate over the rails and rest on the opening of the blower. Note that the notches in the adapter plate should be under the right-angle portion of the rails.
• Slide the rails back down. The plate should now be held by the rails.
• Tighten the thumbscrews.

FireBoard Fan Compatibility
This table is to help you determine if the FireBoard drive fan, either with an adapter plate (included with the Drive Blower) or a separate adapter (sold separately), is compatible with your style of cooker. There are so many styles of cookers on the market that it is impossible for us to have a comprehensive list.

The best way to determine compatibility is to measure the vent on your cooker and compare it to the adapter plate or adapter specifications.
