Flat Plate Cooker with Windshield
Model: WX-SS1F
If you have travelled around Australia camping in popular camp locations, then you have most likely camped at places with permanently fixed flat plate cookers and windshields at the campground. The reason why they chose this design is that it is easy to use, safe and robust. You can either build the fire in the windshield area of the BBQ and wait for it to burn down to coals before you start cooking, or you can shover the hot coals under the BBQ from your campfire nearby. I prefer the latter approach. Not all camping locations have BBQs provided so having a flat plate camping BBQ with a windshield in the back of the car is a great idea and makes cooking over coals while camping an easier process.
Our flat plate cooker with windshield is an easy-to-setup grill and hotplate, simply fold out the windshield and sit the grill on top. Having both a grill and hotplate incorporated into the cooking plate makes it perfect for cooking your bacon, egg and sausage rolls for breakfast on loading it up with snags for dinner. Like all mild steel camping cookware, we recommend treating this like your cast iron and lightly oiling it after use to protect it from any unwanted corrosion.

Specifications:
A large number of BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products are covered for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. Some even come with a 24 month warranty such as Flaming Coals branded rotisserie motors. Please refer to the product's description to check if a warranty is provided for the product.
The product warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of being dropped, exposed to the elements, tampering, mishandling or mis-use such as excessive fire or a motor not being counter-weighted. Stainless steel is not immune to rusting/pitting and is therefore not covered under warranty.
Charcoal pans inside spit roasters are designed to take the brunt of the heat to protect the structural integrity of the spit roaster body. Due to the extreme heat generated when cooking with briquettes/charcoal, some bending of the pan is inevitable and will occur regardless of the thickness of the steel. This is not covered under warranty.
All BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products have been tested and deemed suitable for domestic use only. Using these products commercially voids the warranty. The warranty does not cover postal cost, insurance, incidental charges or any other loss incurred.
