Overview

The Foretrex 801 wrist-mounted GPS navigator is a powerful tool for anyone who needs to navigate in challenging environments. With upgraded multi-band GNSS, you can navigate with improved positional accuracy, making it easier to reach your destination. The device has a long battery life of up to 100 hours in default GPS mode and up to 1000 hours in expedition mode with 2 AAA replaceable batteries (not included), making it ideal for extended trips.

The improved monochromatic screen of the device provides better visibility in all lighting conditions, including low light situations, and is easy to read with night vision goggles. The Garmin Explore(TM) smartphone app allows you to plan and review your adventures, while smart notifications and inReach(R) device messages are delivered to your Foretrex device when connected to your compatible smartphone or inReach satellite communicator (active subscription required; jurisdiction restrictions may apply).
