It covers my ugly, odd-shaped couch very well. I fold the couch out to be used as a bed on a regular bases and the my couch is too heavy to lift to tie and untie the the adjusters underneath on a regular basis, so it's not as neat looking as the ads, but that is to be expected in this circumstance.
