The SMH 2000 is a traditional blacksmith hammer handforged at the Hultafors ironworks before being tempered to produce a strong durable hammer.  The SMH 2000's head consists of both a tempered pein and squared striking face on the opposing sides of the head.

The head is attached to a hickory handle that has been covered in a clear lacquer to prevent dirt and moisture damaged.  As a result the hammer weighs 2150g.
