Dual Density Orthotics

These are the best multipurpose orthotic in the ICB range, and can be used for anyone from athletes to office workers.

ICB's SPORTS DUAL DENSITY Orthotics are designed for active patients involved sporting activities and for general use when the patient requires more support in the heel and arch.

The ICB Sports Dual Density Orthotics are constructed from a combination of firm and medium density EVA. Firm density EVA in the heel cup and arch provides increased stabilisation of the foot and pronation control, whilst a mid density EVA offers increased comfort in the mid and forefoot.

The medium density blue EVA under the heel also provides an intrinsic deflection, ideal for use in heel spur sufferers.

Full Length or 2/3?

The primary reason is for space constraints.Sometimes, the footwear you're using may not have enough room to accommodate a full-length insole comfortably. This can be the case with certain types of shoes like dress shoes or high heels. In such instances, a 2/3 length insole can provide necessary support without overcrowding the shoe.

If your shoes don't have a removeable insert at all, you'll want a short (or 2/3 length) insole. You'll get the arch support your feet need without the extra bulk of a full-length insole, leaving your shoes with enough room to comfortably fit your feet.

However, it is most often recommended that you go with a full-length orthotic because it will not slide or shift in your shoes and therefore is more efficient.

Sizing

According to shoe size. When sizing orthotics, if your shoe size falls between orthotic sizing, then as a rule of thumb, size down in orthotic (see images for size chart).
