These units are effective for overhead heating in food preparation and serving areas. Designed specifically to be wired in pairs and in series, Roband heat lamps maintain prepared food at the correct serving temperature, while enhancing presentation at the same time.
The cleverly designed cover provides a safeguard against broken globe glass falling into food contained within the food bar in the rare instance of a globe breaking.
-Stainless steel cover with protecting glassPlease note that HL series heat lamps do not have external controls such as switches and need to be purchased in pairs and wired in series. If a single lamp is wired in by itself, it would become quite hot. The second lamp needs to be wired in series to act as a resistor.
If you are looking for a stand-alone heat lamp with controls, we recommend the HQ series of heat lamps such as the HQ450E. We also recommend to discuss your requirements with an electrician so the appropriate units can be ordered.
