The "half-chest" or "across-chest" measurement

This standard reference relates to the width of the t-shirts or garments, not the body. The measurement is obtained by laying the t-shirt (hoodie, shirt or other top) flat on a desk or table. The garment is then measured across the front, side-seam to side-seam, from a point that's just a few centimetres below where the sleeve joins the body of the garment. A garment with a half or across-chest measurement of 50cm would be skin-tight on a person with a 100cm chest. Therefore, the half or across-chest measurement - when doubled - should be a few centimetres more than the person's actual chest measurement (depending on the desired fit).
 

Finding your size from the "half-chest" or "across-chest" measurement

Take a favourite-fitting garment, lay it flat, and measure across the front (~1cm below the armpit). Match this measurement to the "half-chest" or "across-chest" measurement for the garment you're interested in (on the product detail page). For cotton-rich and 100% cotton garments that are not pre-shrunk, allow 5-7% extra in the width for future shrinkage. This is especially important to consider for growing children. For pre-shrunk cotton rich garments, allow 1-3% for further shrinkage.

Comparing AU, EU and US sizes

Size scales can vary greatly between different manufacturers and countries of origin. The same is true of sizes from department stores and chain stores, which tend to be more generous these days, and designer labels which are often tiny by comparison. There is no legislated or universal standard. To make online shopping in our blank clothing store a little easier, sizes marked "AU" are roughly Australian standard. "EU" sizing tends to be smaller, and like "US" sizing for women, can be different to the numeric system common in Australia. Some sizes are expressed in years or age ranges, others by the chest measurement of the person they are designed to fit. Always check measurements for each size on the product detail page. If in doubt about any specifics, contact us before placing your order. Please note that we cannot exchange due to incorrect choice of size. Shipping Details

All orders are processed by the next business day. All goods will be shipped via Australia Post, but other courier services may be used. Blank Clothing is not directly liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any goods. If a problem arises, please contact us, and we will resolve any issue.

Faulty Items/Missing Items

• Blank Clothing must be notified of any faulty or missing items as soon as possible. Please inspect your goods upon arrival as quickly as possible.

• Please provide a photo of the items, clearly showing any faults or details of the short shipment, and await instructions from our team.

Returns

Here at Blank Clothing, we strive to make your shopping experience enjoyable and as simple as possible. Our garments are of the highest quality however we accept that there may be situations requiring return. You may return items for refund if they meet the below criteria.

• No return accepted for change of mind or buyer’s remorse. 10% return fee applies. Shipping and Handling is the sole responsibility of the Buyer and is not refundable.

• All return items must be authorised by our customer service team prior to sending back to our Melbourne warehouse. Please contact us to obtain a return form.

• The Item/s must be unworn, unopened and undamaged and returned in a saleable condition, in its original packaging with all tags attached.

• Return requests must include your order number, copy of tax receipt and your reason for return.

• Return requests must be lodged within 30 days of order receipt.

• Return items must be returned to the Melbourne warehouse within 14 days of return authorisation.

Note: Return items will be at the discretion of Blank Clothing and failure to meet the guidelines may result in your ineligible return items being sent back to you, and freight charged to you.

Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
