Description: The KNA AP-1 is a portable surface-mounted piezo pickup designed for a variety of acoustic instruments. It can be safely mounted on the surface of instruments that vibrate, effectively reproducing natural acoustic sound through a passive piezo system.
This pickup is suitable for use on guitars, harps, drums, and percussion instruments. It installs easily with no modifications required; simply stick it onto your instrument's soundboard. The piezo element is encased in laminated birch with a stylish maple top, providing a lightweight assembly that maximizes tonal sensitivity.
The passive design of the AP-1 reproduces the natural sound of the instrument without the need for a battery. The complete installation set includes a double-sided adhesive disc, enough PowerTack adhesive for multiple applications, and a detachable 1/8" to 1/4" cable to keep the pickup in place during storage.
