The Piston Pro has almost all of the bells and whistles as their top of the range Piston Pro X at a better price point. First and foremost it has their innovative OneTap hydro-pneumatic tire arms which secure the bike by both the wheels, giving you one of the most secure attachment systems available that also has no contact with your bike frame, making it suitable for carbon frames and special finishes. Not only does this system grip your bikes stronger than the Hulk but it's also incredibly easy to use with its OneTap design that allows you to release the arms with just a touch of the levers.

The Piston pro is built as tough as possible, with 98% metal construction there's very little plastic that can break with rough handling. Kuat also have payed special attention to the coating on this carrier giving it a Tiger Drylac treatment to ensure it will last longer than you do.

This is a hitch mounted rack which will fit 2in (50mm) size hitches and has a carrying capacity of two bikes with a weight of up to a huge 30kg for each bike. This ample weight allowance makes it suitable for even the heaviest bikes, including most e-bikes.

It's very versatile also as it can fit bikes of any frame design, it secures your bike via the front and rear wheels and it's able to accommodate bikes with wheel diameters of between 20in and 29in. The maximum wheelbase allowable is up to 53in (134cm) and maximum tire width is 5in making suitable for fat bikes too.

The Piston Pro features a foot lever operated folding feature so it can either sit flat against the back of your vehicle in an upright position when not in use or easily lowered into the horizontal position, ready to load your bikes. Plus it has the ability to tilt the carrier down when loaded to allow easy access to the rear of your vehicle anytime you need it.

At times you may run into an issue with two bikes that don't want to fit well together on any bike carrier, the Piston Pro addresses this problem with their patented tool-free FastFit wheel chock adjustment system, so you can find the right position for any bike combo to ensure no bike to bike contact while underway.

For security Kuat include locks for both your bikes and for the carrier itself so you can breathe easy if you have to leave your rig unattended momentarily.

Fitting the carrier to your hitch is a tool free operation using Kuat's patented FlatLock cam hitch mounting system. This makes short work of the task and ensures a rock solid fit, out of the box the carrier does require some assembly though, for more details on installation please refer to the instructions.

Whenever using a rear mounted bike carrier it's wise to use a lightboard with it to display your number plate and for auxiliary lights in case yours are obscured. This is for both safety and for compliance with the law.

Returns and Change of Mind Policy:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Warranty Statement:

RRGQ Pty Ltd T/a ROOF RACKS GALORE warrants that the goods will, under proper use, be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months from the date of installation or Delivery, whichever is later. This warranty is in addition to any non-excludable statutory warranty or guarantee that may be implied by law. For individual product warranty periods please refer to the product manufacturers website.
Where there is an alleged warranty issue, the Buyer must obtain the advice and approval of ROOF RACKS GALORE prior to carrying out any repairs. ROOF RACKS GALORE will, if it finds the goods to have a defect covered by this warranty, at its option, repair or replace the goods, or pay for the cost of the goods being repaired. The Buyer must, at its own cost and risk, once approved by ROOF RACKS GALORE, quarantine and hold the defective Product and, when instructed by ROOF RACKS GALORE, return, repair or destroy the Product.

Where the Buyer repairs or arranges for the repair of the Product after approval by ROOF RACKS GALORE to do so, the Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the goods meet ROOF RACKS GALORE compliance criteria and are safe and fit for purpose. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law these terms and conditions exclude all other conditions, guarantees, warranties, liabilities or representations in relation to the goods and/or services unless contained in a written warranty provided to the Buyer with the goods. Where legislation implies in these terms and conditions any condition or warranty that cannot be excluded or modified, to the extent permitted by law the liability of ROOF RACKS GALORE for a breach of any such condition or warranty is limited at ROOF RACKS GALORE option to any one or more of the following:
a.) In the case of goods:

replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, by credit to the Buyer’s account, in cash or by cheque at ROOF RACKS GALORE discretion; or
repayment of any part of the purchase price of the goods which has been paid by the Buyer, by credit to the Buyer’s account, in cash or by cheque at ROOF RACKS GALORE discretion.
b).In the case of advice, recommendations, information or services, by supplying the advice recommendations, information or services again.

ROOF RACKS GALORE is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever and howsoever arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods and services, including (without limitation) any indirect or consequential loss (including without limitation loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of goodwill or increased cost of workings), arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services, even if due to the negligence of ROOF RACKS GALORE or any of its employees or agents. ROOF RACKS GALORE will not be liable for any act of war, strike, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or other act of natural cause beyond its reasonable control.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
