Description: The Radius Mandolin Pickup is a high-tech contact sensor designed to emulate the sound of a microphone without the instability associated with microphones. It installs easily on the instrument with non-destructive mounting putty. The pickup features a highly flexible film sensor that responds similarly to a microphone diaphragm, held in equilibrium and damped by opposing neodymium magnets. This allows the pickup to capture the instrument's subtle nuances.
