LYKKE needles are made of strong Birch wood, and are very smooth and light. 

Beautiful set containing 12 pairs of straight, single pointed knitting needles nestled securely into a charcoal faux denim folding case. The needles are made of smooth, hard, birch wood with a beautiful grey "driftwood" finish that varies with the wood grain an the tips are long and slender.

The black metal end caps have the sizes etched into them, not printed.
