Designed with a planing width of 82mm, the Makita 18V Planer Skin 82mm combines easy manoeuvrability with high speed to provide users with smooth and efficient cutting performance. This cordless planer has a maximum cutting depth of 2mm, which is easily adjusted by simply turning the planing depth adjustment knob. 

Its powerful Makita-built motor runs on a single 18V Li-Ion battery (available separately) and delivers an outstanding speed of up to 14,000rpm. Skin only - battery and charger available separately. The built-in electric brake brings the blades to a stop in a fraction of a second for improved control and added operator safety. This model also features a new improved superior fan-assisted chip ejection, as well as a foot attached to the rear base to protect the workpiece from abrasion and damage.
