Mavlab Oxymav B (Antibiotic For Birds) 100g

Oxymav B for Birds. A Soluble Broadspectrum Antibiotic Powder S5.

Composition: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 10g/Kg.

Main Features: For the treatment of diseases due to Oxytetracycline sensitive organisms in ornamental caged birds. Treats respiratory and general bacterial conditions in caged birds. Effective against a wide range of Gram positive & Gram negative bacteria, certain Richettsiae, Chlamidia, Actinomycetes, Mycoplasma, Protozoa and some of the larger viruses. No prescription is required for this useful medication. Actions: Broad spectrum antibiotic against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, certain rickettsia, chlamydia, actinomyces, mycoplasma, protozoa and some of the larger viruses. It acts by inhibition of proteins in the ribosomes of the bacteria. Oxytetracycline crosses most biological barriers in the body.

Indications: Diseases due to susceptible organisms in ornamental cage birds. Safety Directions: Avoid contact with the skin and eyes, and avoid inhaling the dust.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Disease: Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and bacterial enteritis. Dosage: Dissolve 5g (1 rounded measure) in 50mL of water. Critical Comments: Treat the bird for 3 to 5 days or as directed by a veterinarian.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Prepare fresh solution daily and use as the sole source of drinking water. 50mL of prepared solution will treat 2 large birds (parrots, cockatoos) or 10 small birds (canaries, finches, budgerigars). Presentation: Powder (fine, yellow, soluble): 100g.
