The original album went directly to #1 on the Billboard Albums chart in 1975. "Listen To What The Man Said" did the same trick on the Hot 100 Singles chart, moving into the pole position when the album was at the top. Additionally, who can forget the truly classic "Venus and Mars" segueing into "Rock Show", wherein Paul and the rest of Wings make direct (and nostalgic) references to various concert venues in which Wings (and the Beatles before them) played some historic dates? The Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and other spots get a well deserved nod for hosting memorable shows in the relative past.
