Moringa Tree Seeds

Moringa is a fast-growing, deciduous tree that can reach a height of 10-12 m and a trunk diameter of 45 cm. The tree has fragile branches, an open crown of drooping leaves, and a feathery foliage of tripinnate leaves. The bark is surrounded by thick cork and has a whitish-grey colour. Young shoots have purplish or greenish-white, hairy bark.
Various parts of moringa are edible, including immature seed pods, called "drumsticks", leaves, mature seeds, oil pressed from seeds, flowers, and roots.
Germination Guide
Pre-soak the Seeds: Start by soaking the seeds in warm water for 24 hours.
Planting: Use pots filled with soil and loosely cover the seeds with approximately 1 cm of soil. Water lightly.
Moisture: Keep the soil evenly moist but not overly wet or soggy.
Warm Location: Place the pots in a warm spot to encourage germination. A heated bed with a temperature of 21-32oC will improve results.
Sunlight: As seedlings sprout, gradually introduce them to direct sunlight.
Transplanting: Once the seedlings are strong enough to handle, carefully transplant them to an outdoor location that is warm, sunny, and well-drained. Take care not to damage the roots.
