8" 2 WAY IP67 BOX SPEAKER WHITE

Not just another new speaker range, the MX Series is a system of audio building blocks that allows architects and venue designers to create a seamless full range audio presence, without compromising on aesthetics. The range is based around a 6" or 8", two-way, full range, wall or ceiling mountable loudspeaker and can be augmented with a very compact subwoofer system. Ceiling speaker versions are also available. The Ultra-compact MX601 and MX801 loudspeakers are very low profile and feature Hi-Fi quality audio reproduction, withstand direct all-weather environments, and include an installation friendly mountingsystem that is both elegant and practical.

Revealing Details

The objective for the Engineers of the MX Series Indoor/Outdoor line-up was to take the compact wall mount speaker to a new standard of performance. This meant consulting with a wide range of venue and public space designers to determine what is needed in a modern designed architectural space. To achieve the desired outcomes a completely new approach to the design was required, both technically for the audio performance, and in developing new manufacturing techniques. The result is a refined appearance that fits visually into any environment, reproduces Hi-Fi quality music and speech; and is easy to install.
The MX Series are small in size considering the SPL outputand frequency response they are capable of delivering. The housings are shaped and finished to reflect light in a way that helps them blend in visually with modern architecturalstyles.

To achieve the very small physical size, a completely new type of woofer design was required. A conventional woofer would not fit in the intended space or deliver the bass response required in a sealed enclosure. Quest has designeda new type of driver and also incorporated a passive resonance circuit that simulates the action of a reflex port. This means an 8" driver can function at full capacity within a cabinet space that would normally be suited for a 6" driver. As a result of this, and the sealed enclosure design, the MX Series can be environmentally rated up to IP67. This IP rating opens up new avenues for system design and placement - the opportunities are endless.

Q-Mount Mounting System - UB1

Wall mounting is made easy with the patented Q-Mount UB1 wall mounting system. The UB1 included with both the MX601 and MX801 is a pan/tilt system that is based around a'10 degree locking ball and socket' joint. Thisallows for precise directivity control at uniform angles. The locking mechanism requires no tools and is high strength with no capacity to slip over time. The combination of the parallel terminal plug on the MX Series and the "aim and clamp" bracket design means that installation takes minimal time

No PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
At this stage we only use couriers and can only deliver to a road-side address. This means PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers cannot be accepted as StarTrack do not deliver to these addresses.
In instances where a PO Box or Parcel Locker address in entered, we may ask for an alternative road-side address, or cancel and refund your order immediately and urge you to replace your order with an alternative delivery address.

Delivery times
We typically dispatch our goods same day or next day. From there, you can expect 2 - 8 business days Australia wide. Most capital cities can expect 1-2 day delivery times.
Any RTS (Return to Sender) orders due to missing or incorrect address information entered by the buyer may incur an additional charge for redelivery.

RETURNS POLICY

To return goods we have delivered to you, please contact us within 30 days from the date you have received the item. A staff member will then assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.

Incorrectly Ordered/Change Of Mind:

Refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind or found the goods cheaper elsewhere. However, if goods have been incorrectly ordered, at our discretion, customers may be credited less a restocking fee.

A change of mind return will only be accepted if:

The item is in a brand new, sealed and resaleable condition
We are contacted within 30 days of the item being received
The item is returned to us in a timely manner

Please note: For change of mind returns, the shipping cost and method is the customer's responsibility. We will not compensate any returns that are lost or damaged in transit to us. For some change of mind returns, a restocking fee may apply.

Faulty Items

We recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from our store to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods. If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange to have the damaged goods returned and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund. Replacements and refunds of new products that are damaged on delivery or faulty from new requires a proof of purchase of the product and be returned with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals included. Refunds will be made via the method of payment you used to make your purchase. If we consider the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to us will be at our cost and compensated.

Repairs

The product must be returned with proof of purchase, it must not be modified or mistreated in any way and it must not have been serviced elsewhere. Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident. We may provide you with an approximate fee; this may vary due to reasons beyond our control. In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
