The Ossur Unloader One Knee Brace is a lightweight, easy to use, non-surgical treatment option for the symptoms associated with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. As with the custom model, this osteoarthritis unloader knee brace preserves the clinically-proven Ossur Unloader 3-Points of Leverage design by incorporating Dual Dynamic Force Straps that are easily fine tuned via a Dynamic Force Control System.

The rachet-style buckles allow for easy fitting and fine tune adjustments for enhancing support. Color-coded straps and breathable padding with Ossur Sensil(R) Silicone are specially designed to improve suspension and ensure a secure fit. The Unloader One knee brace provides greater comfort and patient compliance.

New: SmartDosing, powered by Boa(R)Technology, provides patients with a simplified, single-hand dosing dial for on-the-fly adjustability of the dual Dynamic Force Straps (DFS), helping them better manage their unicompartmental OA knee pain. And, by utilizing the new SmartDosing dial, users can easily adjust the dual DFS tension right through their clothes.

How do Unloader Braces work?

Unloader knee braces biomechanically address knee OA pain by creating more space between the bones of the knee joint (please refer to one of the product listing images). The brace's dual Dynamic Force Straps (DFS) apply a gentle force designed to reduce pressure on the sensitive bony surfaces of the knee reducing pain and allowing increased mobility.

• Is the brace for a left or right leg?
• Which compartment of the knee do you want to unload, left outside or right outside? Please refer to the Sizing Guide for image that shows the location of the affected knee compartments. (Brace hinge is on the side of the affected compartment)
• What is the patient's calf circumference
• Brace length : Standard - 39.5cm(for patient height over 160cm)

Circumference measurement: 15cm below mid-kneecap. Select smaller size if between measurements.
